The WordPress plugin is the easiest way to add Vehicle Lookup to a WordPress website. No coding required.
**Step 1: Download the Plugin**
1. Log in to your Vehicle Lookup admin panel
2. Navigate to **Step 5: API Integration**
3. Click the **Download WordPress Plugin** button
4. Save the `.zip` file to your computer
**Step 2: Install the Plugin**
1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
2. Go to **Plugins** > **Add New**
3. Click **Upload Plugin** at the top of the page
4. Click **Choose File** and select the downloaded `.zip` file
5. Click **Install Now**
6. Once installed, click **Activate Plugin**
**Step 3: Configure the Plugin**
1. In your WordPress admin, go to **Settings** > **Vehicle Lookup**
2. Enter your **API Key** in the settings field
3. Click **Save Changes**
**Step 4: Add to a Page**
1. Create a new page or edit an existing page
2. Add the shortcode: `[vehicle_lookup]`
3. Publish or update the page
That's it! The widget will now appear on that page, automatically loading your custom colours and gauge style from your admin panel settings.
**Tips:**
- You can place the shortcode on any page or post
- The widget automatically adapts to your WordPress theme's content width
- Your custom colours, gauge style, and services are loaded from your admin panel settings
- If you update your API key, update it in the WordPress settings as well
